Young people, aged 17-30, are invited to audition for the opening ceremony. Sixteen couples will be selected to perform the polonaise, quadrille, and opening waltz for the New Year's Day Grand Viennese Ball.  Requirements include the ability to dance both natural and reverse turns for the modern Viennese waltz and availability at the following times:

Friday December 29th 7-9PM: Rehearsal

Saturday December 30th 9AM-4PM: Rehearsal

Monday January 1st  5PM - Midnight: Dress Rehearsal and Ball

Although participants will be provided with free admission to the ball, they will be entirely responsible for their attire.  Young women will need floor-length white dresses, and young men will require formal tailcoats.
